Package Inclusions

This all-inclusive week package runs from Saturday to Saturday; a 7-night stay includes:

  • Accommodation: A private room for your stay, including access to a bathroom.

  • Meals: Half-board (breakfast and dinner) or full-board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

  • Inclusive Excursions: Three pre-arranged excursions are included in your stay. Participation is optional—feel free to join on the scheduled days or enjoy your own plans. There’s no pressure to take part. If you choose not to attend, the price of your stay remains unchanged, as these excursions are part of your package.

Limited Availability

Due to the nature of our Chambre d'Hôte, we can only accommodate 3 guests per week. Please confirm your booking only if you are certain about proceeding, as we cannot accommodate additional guests beyond this limit. Please note that, as a Chambre d'Hôte, we are permitted to offer a maximum of 5 rooms. We operate with a limited number of rooms for a more intimate experience and, as such, we only accept 3 guests per week.

Booking Confirmation and Payment

  • Confirmation: By confirming and paying for your booking, you acknowledge that you have reviewed these terms and conditions. All details of the package, including room, meals, and included excursions, have been clearly provided to you.

  • Payment: Full payment is required to secure your booking. Upon receipt of payment, these terms and conditions become binding.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, debit card, bank transfer, and other electronic payment methods available through our booking system (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay).

  • Transaction Fees: Any transaction fees or bank charges associated with your payment are the responsibility of the guest.

  • Tourist Tax: A tourist tax of €0.60 per person per night, as set by the local government, is included in the price of the stay.

VAT Clause

Currently, as our annual turnover is below the VAT threshold set by French law, we do not charge VAT on the accommodation services provided. However, should any changes occur in the future that require us to charge VAT, we reserve the right to add VAT to the overall cost of your stay. Any such change will be clearly communicated to you prior to your arrival, and VAT will be applied in accordance with French tax regulations.

Currency and Payment

  • Currency: All prices for bookings are quoted in euros (EUR).

  • Payment: Payment will be processed in euros, regardless of the guest’s location or currency.

  • Currency Conversion Fees: Guests paying in currencies other than euros (e.g., USD, GBP) may incur currency conversion fees and exchange rate fluctuations, which are the responsibility of the guest. These fees are applied by their payment provider (e.g., bank, credit card company) and are not charged or controlled by us. We recommend that guests verify their payment method and any associated fees with their bank or payment provider prior to booking.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to accommodation, transport, or leisure activities that are scheduled for a specific date or period. Therefore:

Cancellation & Booking Policy

  • A Unique Shared Experience: At Justbeholidays.fr, we welcome three individual guests per week who book separately (or as three female friends) but come together to share a unique experience. This small-group format is designed to foster new connections and meaningful interactions. Because the experience relies on full group participation, we have a strict cancellation policy to ensure fairness for all guests.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • 50% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival.

    • No refund if canceled less than 60 days before arrival.

    • No-shows or partial attendance are non-refundable.

Alternatives to Cancellation

  • Guest Substitution: If you can’t attend, you may transfer your place to another guest (friend or family member).

  • Date Change: You may request a one-time date change up to 60 days before arrival, subject to availability.

  • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.

Included Excursions

The package includes three pre-arranged excursions, which are part of the overall price of your stay. No refund or price reduction will be provided if you choose not to participate in any or all of these excursions.

Check-in & Check-out Times

  • Check-in: From Saturday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

  • Check-out: By Saturday, 11:00 AM.

Early check-ins or late check-outs may be accommodated upon request, but are subject to availability.

House Rules

  • Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the property. There is plenty of space in the garden for smoking.

  • Pets: Pets are not allowed.

  • Quiet Hours: Please respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM.

  • No Food in the Bedrooms.

  • Septic Tank: Our property operates on a septic tank system that is not connected to public drainage. To prevent blockages or flooding, only human waste and toilet paper may be flushed down the toilets. Similarly, no fats, oils, or non-biodegradable items should be disposed of in sinks. Any misuse of the system resulting in blockages or damage requiring professional repair will be the responsibility of the guest, and repair costs will be charged accordingly.

Justbeholidays.fr is a retreat designed exclusively for women. We offer a peaceful and welcoming space where guests can relax, connect, and share experiences in a respectful and supportive environment. All guests are expected to treat one another with kindness and consideration, ensuring that everyone feels safe and valued during their stay.

  • Women-Only Space – Our retreat is designed for women seeking a calm and comfortable environment among other women.

  • Mutual Respect – We foster an atmosphere of kindness and respect. All guests are expected to engage with one another in a spirit of openness and consideration.

  • Privacy & Comfort – While our retreat encourages connection, we also respect individual space and privacy.

  • Zero-Tolerance for Discrimination – Any form of disrespectful behavior, exclusion, or questioning of another guest’s right to be here is not in line with our values and will not be tolerated.

A Unique Shared Experience

Our chambre d’hôte experience is designed for three solo female travelers who will join together to share a meaningful experience. However, in the event that we do not receive three bookings for a given week, we may still proceed with the booking for a smaller group, including just one or two guests.

  • If fewer than three bookings are made, the price of the stay will remain the same.

  • If you book as a solo traveler and we do not fill all three spots, you will still enjoy the experience, but the format will be adapted accordingly.

  • In the case of only one guest, we will make efforts to maintain the group dynamic but will ensure that your stay is enjoyable and comfortable.

We ask that you understand that the experience relies on some group interaction, and we will do our best to provide a fulfilling stay even with fewer guests.

Damage & Security Deposit

Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. If significant damage occurs, we reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacements.

  • Security Deposit: A €300 security deposit is required before check-in. This deposit covers potential damages, excessive cleaning, or emergency repairs (including issues with the septic tank system).
    Deposit Refunds:

    • Inspection at Check-out: Refunds will be issued immediately for cash deposits.

    • Refund via Bank Transfer or Card: Refund will be processed within 10 days after check-out, provided no issues are found.

Meal Customization

As a traditional Chambre d’Hôte, meals are prepared by the host and served in a communal setting. There is no set menu, and guests are invited to enjoy the local cuisine that is freshly prepared each day.

We strive to accommodate dietary preferences where possible; however, we cannot provide strictly vegetarian meals or cater to specific food allergies (such as nuts or dairy).

If you have concerns about certain ingredients (e.g., prawns or pork), please notify us in advance, and we will do our best to make reasonable adjustments within the scope of our home-cooked meals.

Additional Services

For guests on a full-board package, a packed lunch can be provided upon request for any day trips, subject to availability.

Please note that food and drinks purchased outside the property (at local restaurants or bars) are not included in the price of your stay.

Soft drinks and select alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the property, should you wish to enjoy something not included in your package.

Special Requirements

Please inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements, allergies, mobility issues, or other requests that may affect your stay. We will do our best to accommodate your needs but cannot guarantee complete customization due to the nature of our services.

Liability

We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to your personal belongings during your stay or on included excursions, except in cases where such loss, injury, or damage results from our own negligence or failure to fulfill our contractual obligations.

For your safety, you agree to follow all safety instructions provided during excursions and activities. Failure to do so may result in the denial of participation, but we will not be held liable for any consequences.

We are not liable for any accidents or injuries occurring during excursions or activities, whether included in the stay or undertaken independently. This includes transportation provided as part of the excursion. Guests participate in such activities at their own risk. Our liability is limited to instances of proven negligence or failure to fulfill our contractual obligations.

Please note that, except for the Garden Room, guest rooms do not have individual locks or keys. The Garden Room has its own entrance and key. Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings, and we provide a security box in each room for added protection. While we take reasonable measures to ensure the security of the property, we cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, except in cases of our negligence or failure to fulfill our contractual obligations.

Force Majeure

In the event of a force majeure situation (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or any other event beyond our control), we will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable solution. If we are unable to perform the booked services due to such circumstances, we will offer an alternative, rescheduling, or a refund, depending on the situation.

Host Cancellation

In the unlikely event that I, as the host, must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. I will also make reasonable efforts to assist you in finding alternative accommodation if needed.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend that guests obtain travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, medical expenses, or travel disruptions.

Safety & Accessibility

Our property features a staircase without a bannister. Guests with mobility issues, balance concerns, vertigo, or other related conditions should consider this before booking.

For those who may find the staircase challenging, we recommend booking the Garden Room, which offers easier access. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have considered this aspect of the accommodation and accept full responsibility for your safety while using the stairs.

Behavior and Conduct

We ask all guests to behave respectfully and courteously toward other guests and staff during their stay. Any disruptive behavior, including but not limited to verbal abuse, physical aggression, or any action that disturbs the peace, will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of your stay without refund.

Discrimination

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment, including but not limited to discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Discriminatory behavior will result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Fire Safety

For your safety, please familiarize yourself with the fire escape routes upon arrival. Fire safety instructions are displayed in each room. Guests are required to comply with fire safety regulations, including not blocking fire exits or alarms. In case of fire, evacuate the premises immediately.

Personal Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French Data Protection Law, we are committed to protecting your personal information. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations. Language of the Contract

This agreement is provided in both English and French. In the event of a dispute, the French version shall prevail, as required by French law.

Final Confirmation

By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. Please confirm your booking only if you are certain about your plans, as we have limited availability each week and cannot accept cancellations beyond the specified refund periods.
